On October 18, 2012, the BCA made the decision to conduct a unique professional development and networking symposium in conjunction with the 2013 American Football Coaches Association convention, the 2013 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) convention and the 2013 convention of the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA).  The sport specific meetings will replace the previously conducted annual BCA Convention.

The new format will allow the BCA membership to maximize expenses in attending both their professional organization meetings and the programming offered by the BCA.
